Conventional buttons work by turning off input when the button is lifted to a certain position after being released.
However, this rapid trigger uses a mechanism that turns off input the moment the button is released, allowing for more intuitive operation.

This controller allows you to change the actuation point to your preferred position, so try to find the setting that is most comfortable for you.

◆World's first "CHERRY MX Multipoint axis"

The aforementioned "rapid trigger" requires extremely precise processing due to its mechanism.
For this reason, it is said that it is difficult to stabilize the operation. However, after repeated technical testing, we have succeeded in stabilizing the operation of the Rapid Trigger with this switch.
It also boasts incredible durability. While a typical mechanical switch can withstand 100 million button presses, this switch can withstand a whopping 200 million! For fighting games, where you press buttons hard and often, this switch's stability and durability make it the perfect solution.
*To improve the typing feel, the springs of the CHERRY MX Multipoint switches have been replaced and lubricated.
For this reason, the keyboard is available in two colors: silver and blue, but there is no difference in the typing feel between the two.

◆"Support" to further improve typing feel

When customers used the prototype at various events, they commented that they were concerned about the shaking when typing.
To address this issue, we held discussions with VARMILO and came up with a solution by inserting a support into the gap between the buttons.
This reduces button wobble and improves stability and durability.
*Please note that these "supports" are not "burrs." Please note that scraping or otherwise removing them may void the warranty.

◆ Change settings using the "WEB app"

All you have to do is put the controller into "PC mode," connect it to your PC, and access the website.
There is no need for complicated tasks such as "changing settings by pressing buttons" or "installing special software."
Of course, it supports Japanese, and its graphical interface makes it easy to use intuitively.

◆How many buttons do you need?

We also consulted with professional gamers and streamers with experience in fighting games to determine the number of buttons that would be compatible with any game.
So one question came to mind: "Is it enough to just add buttons to the conventional shape?"
To carry out this verification, we developed and played a prototype. We carefully considered the question, "What is the best layout for this number of buttons?" and designed it for the "future" of fighting games.

◆ Intended for use in tournaments

There are already many fighting game tournaments in full swing, and it's not hard to predict that many more will be held in the future.
In particular, the "simultaneous button press processing (SOCD cleaner)" is strictly regulated in tournament rules. The VARMILO FK2 offers more flexible settings than leverless controllers on the market, allowing you to individually configure the "up/down and left/right" simultaneous button presses. This makes it compatible with any game released now or in the future.
It also has a "Lock" function, which disables the "START button" and other buttons, preventing you from accidentally pressing the "START button" during a match and being disqualified.

Easy to use for any playing style (lap or desk)

Of course, everyone's body shape is different, and so too is the "optimal height" for a controller. If it's too high, it's difficult to play on a desk, and if it's too low, you have to lift your feet when using it on your lap. We took both of these into consideration when coming up with the perfect balance.
Furthermore, it's not just the height that determines how easy a controller is to use. If it's not heavy enough, it won't feel stable, and if it's not wide enough, you'll feel stressed while playing. We designed it without compromising on any of the factors, including ease of resting on your lap, on a desk, and portability.

◆The "case" is not just for carrying around

With the rise of professional gamers traveling to game centers, and more recently offline competitions, the culture of carrying a controller is becoming more common. That's why we decided to include a dedicated case with the VARMILO FK2.
However, this is not just a case for storage; you can also place it under the controller to "adjust the height."

◆The problem with arcade controllers: "noise"

Compared to arcade sticks with levers, leverless ones make less noise, but by their very nature, fighting games involve pressing a lot of buttons repeatedly.
Even if you don't mind it, people around you may find it noisy, or the sound may be revealing your strategy.
